The garlic, citrus juices, olive oil, cilantro, oregano, onion granules, cumin, salt, and pepper are blended into a bright, aromatic mojo sauce. That sauce is then mixed into the pulled pork to infuse it with bold Cuban flavor.

Butter the outside of each slice of sourdough and place in frying pan, butter side down.

Spread yellow mustard, lay half of the cheese slices, pickles, ham, divide the pulled pork and finish with another slice of Swiss cheese.

Top with remaining piece of bread and fry in hot pan on medium high heat to allow the sandwich to fry slowly for around 4-5 minutes until the bread is golden and the cheese is melting.

Flip each sandwich and fry on the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
