 ¼ cup salted butter
 12 slices sourdough bread
 1 lb deli cut ham slices
 12 slices Swiss cheese
 ½ cup BBQ sauce
 ¼ cup blueberry jam
 2 tbsp mayonnaise
 2 tsp coarse kosher salt

Heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter until melted.

Spread the butter onto each slice of bread. Onto the “bottom” slices, evenly distribute the sliced swiss. Layer the ham. Spread mayo on ham. Layer the remaining swiss cheese. Spread blueberry jam on cheese. Season with pinch of salt. Close the sandwiches with the top pieces of bread.

Heat a 12” skillet over medium heat. Add enough olive oil to generously coat the bottom. Once hot, gently transfer 3 of the sandwiches to the skillet. Cook until crisp and golden on one side, 2 minutes or so.

Use a spatula to gently flip them over. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for another couple of minutes, or until the second side is crisp and golden, and the cheese is melted.
